For the MB3 do the following:
First uninstall DSTV now(settings- apps – DSTV) then disable automatic updates in the Google Playstore, restart the device after which you just go to the MBX app updater then install DSTV from the MBX app updater and you should be fine.
If you get error 104 when trying to install, you will need to do a factory reset(MBX Settings – Configuration – Factory Reset) and then all will be fine, no need to uninstall or update and if it does update itself all you do is uninstall updates by going to settings – apps – DSTV Now. Please remember you will need to re-pair your remote after a factory reset.
For the MBX4K the below will work:
First thing you do is disable automatic updates on the Playstore.
If you have the MBX Appstore on your device just go to it and uninstall it then reinstall DSTV from the MBX Appstore.
If you have the MBX app updater follow the below:
First uninstall DSTV now(settings- apps – DSTV) then restart the device after which Just go to settings in the MBX app updater and check expert and uncheck privileged extension then install DSTV from the MBX app updater and you should be fine.
