When you purchase a Mediabox we want you to have the choice, so we let you decide which premium content you subscribe to. The monthly subscription fees for premium services are as follows: Netflix(R130)*, Amazon(R150)*, DSTV(R850) and Showmax(R99).
*Please note some subscriptions are based on a USD price and as such are subject to change in exchange rates.
We currently do not pre-install Kodi any longer as it has become illegal in some European countries. You are, however free to install it from the Playstore on your Mediabox.
We use the Android operating system. Currently the MBX3 device comes with 4.4 Kitkat and the MBX4K version 6 installed. Our new MBX4K – Ranger has Android TV 8 – Oreo and is Google Certified.

The upside is you can run two Mediabox devices at the same time as well as a satellite decoder on a single subscription. You can also get all the catchup you would have available on an Explorer Decoder.
